Liven up your traditional three-bean salad with this recipe, featuring crisp bell peppers, edamame and a tangy sweet and sour sauce.

Directions
1. Prepare the edamame. (I steam frozen for 20 minutes or until tender.)

2. Rinse and drain wax beans and green beans. Allow them to drain while preparing other ingredients.

3. Dice red onion and red pepper.

4. Mix oil, vinegar, salt, pepper and Splenda in a screw-top jar.

5. Mix all ingredients together refrigerate overnight.
